1. Is the frame environmental friendly?

All frames are entirely made of PEFC™ and FSC® certified wood material, which come from sustainable forests. They are absolutely hypoallergenic, non-toxic and made respecting the environment. Furthermore the wood material is treated only using solvent-free and natural products.

2. How resistant the frame is?

All the frames are produced with high quality material, respecting an elaborate construction process, or "artisanal method", which is the oldest approach in making quality. Each frame is long lasting, flexible and very light. You'd barely notice you are wearing it. They are quality tested and their manufacture is guaranteed. It is however important to underline that the frames are only suitable for the purposes for which they were designed.

3. What kind of warranty do the glasses have?

I offer a lifetime warranty on my frames for manufacturing defect. A manufacturing defect refers to an error of the production process, causing it to not work properly. Any repair is carried out in my workshop. Any changes or repairs carried out outside my workshop, will relieve me of any responsibility regarding the conformity of the product. In addition, in case of breakage, once I've assessed the damage and potential cause, I proceed with the repair at the customer's expense.

4. How do I take care of my frame?

Each eyeglass frame is treated with high quality products that protect the wood over the long term against UV light and moisture. Time gives your glasses elegance and a worn look. However, I recommend cleaning your glasses regularly. Use a microfiber cloth to remove any make-up or cosmetic products to fully preserve the natural color of the wood.

Furthermore, to protect the wood surface over the years, surface treatments can be a good idea. I am happy to help you providing a free maintenance service for the entire life-cycle of the frame, to protect the wood and maintain its natural tone.

5. Do my glasses feel comfortable?

Of course! Each frame is very light and tough at the same time. The weight is about 15 grams without lenses.

6. Is the frame waterproof?

Each frame is water resistant and designed to withstand outdoor enviroments. Wood surfaces are coated with several layers of natural oils and waxes. That makes them water repellent, protecting your glasses in the rain. However, in order not to compromise the structure of the frame, it is advisable not to let them come into a long contact with water or other liquid substances. Any other precaution to be taken for the correct use is indicated in the instructions for use.
