A custom-made eyewear is a magical experience. It represents the pinnacle of personalization and exclusivity. Your bespoke eyewear is authentically handcrafted at all stages, until it is brought to the end in a truly personal piece of art, unique to the world.
I offer a long distance design consultations. We start with phone or skype calls or emails to discuss timeline, style and other consultation questions. Long distance should be no barrier to your bespoke eyewear design you desire.
Thanks to the convenience of modern technology I am able to achieve high levels of precision and customization. All it requires is that you provide me a couple of pictures: a front and a side photo of you or the person the glasses are intended for.
How it works
- Together we will discuss the process and gain an understanding of your needs. Communication is key. It may take more time in the beginning but will save time in the end.
- I will produce some sketches to get an overall idea of the shape of the glasses. I will consider your very first impression, giving you some personalized advices and make any necessary adjustments to the design.
- According to your personal taste we will select the right type of wood material. You can choose between different wood essences: maple, walnut, ebonized walnut, cherry, zebrawood and grey oak. Free your imagination, give life to a beautiful plain-colored or multicolored bespoke eyewear. At this point, there should have been a clear direction on the design.
- I will create a coloured sketch that recalls the colors of the chosen wood essence. Enjoy a preview.
- Bringing your piece to life. Within 6-8 weeks I will deliver your finished bespoke glasses.
Your bespoke eyewear is crafted combining ancient and modern production techniques, meticulosly following your vision. Based on a series of pictures of your face, I will generate some sketches following your ideas. Thanks to the 3D printing, I will create a mold of your nose to make sure your bespoke eyewear design is a perfect fit.
Together we co-create a design concept. Based on your wishes and inspirations, I will design a new custom creation tailored exclusively for you, or redesign an existing model. A single pair of bespoke glasses can take up to several weeks to be completed, from the design until the final adjustments.
